Professional Repair and Shop Operation Course Currently In Session
Current UBI Class In Session This week students from all parts of the world and from every background have converged on UBI for a Professional Repair and Shop Operation course. This is a comprehensive 2 week professional level course for students with limited or no bike shop experience. The major goal of the class is to prepare students to work in a bicycle shop, or to help them learn enough about professional bicycle mechanics to work on their own bicycles in a professional manner. The course also provides a solid foundation for those who wish to own their own bicycle shop. Upon successful completion of the course, graduates will receive a coveted UBI Certificate.

Congratulations to Mike, Aaron and Drew!

UBI's New Student Frame Gallery
We love showing off the frames made by students in our frame building classes.

Don't Forget Your Bike!
Southern Oregon is a cyclists paradise! When coming to UBI, most students bring their bikes, and for good reason. Ashland and the surrounding area is home to hundreds of miles of single track and abandoned jeep trails. Within just a few blocks of the school is Lithia Park, gateway to the Ashland Watershed and many miles of designated mountain bike trails, and within driving distance are trail heads through pristine mountain forests and lakes. For road riding, Ashland is the center of many popular routes offering a variety of scenery and difficulty levels - from flat winding roads which meander through beautiful pear orchards to European-style alpine climbs taking you through breathtaking pristine forests and mountain lakes. So whatever type of riding you are into, Ashland has it all, so please....Don't Forget Your Bike!
