Returns and Refunds Policy
Upon receipt of your order, please check all items for damage, shortages or mis-shipments. All claims and returns must be made within 48 hours of receipt and must be submitted to UBI by telephone for pre-approval. Claims made after 48 hours will not be considered. Shortages will be verified by shipping weight, inventory count, and UPS records. If a reshipment, refund, or credit is in order, the following guidelines will be followed:
Damage, Mis-shipments and Shortages
If an order is received by the purchaser with incorrect or damaged items, or with a shortage, UBI will reship the item(s) at no additional cost to the purchaser using the same shipping method of the original shipment. If the purchaser wishes the reshipment to be provided using a faster and/or more expensive shipping method, the purchaser must pay the difference between the two methods. Mis-shipped or damaged items must be shipped back to UBI within 5 business days of receipt of the order.
Refunds and Credits
Non-tubing items may be returned for any reason provided they are in like-new condition and are shipped backed to UBI within 5 business days of receipt of the order. Since tubing orders are custom cut to size, returned tubes will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. If an item is returned because of an error on behalf of UBI (damage or mis-shipment), UBI will issue a UPS call tag and will incur the return shipping charges. If an item is returned for any other reason, the puchaser is responsible for return shipping charges.
Within 24 hours of receipt of the item(s), UBI will issue a refund using the same payment method as the original purchase. If the original purchase was made by check, a refund check will be issued. If the original purchase was made by credit card, a refund will be issued to the card number the order was placed under.
Out of Stock Items and Back Orders
If an item is out of stock, we will notify the purchaser via telephone or e-mail before the order is shipped in case an appropriate substitute item is desired. When an out of stock item becomes available again, it will be duly noted on our website. We do not ship back orders for out of stock items.
