>I have a Gary Fisher Mt.Tam 29 and just bought a wireless cyclocomputer and need help with the input number. The numbers on the tire are 29x2.1, & 700x52c (52-622).Any help would be greatly appreciated! Josh

Make a chalk mark on the tire sidewall and on the ground. Roll the bike along a straight line - like a driveway expansion joint - and mark the ground when the sidewall mark comes back around. Measure it with your tape rule. Input the resulting tire circumference measurement, in mm.

For best accuracy, have a friend help and do the rollout with the tires at the air pressure you usually ride, while you are on the bike with your usual kit. Measure three times and average the results. Write it down, along with the tire model/size/air pressure. If you change tires, measure it again.

Good luck!
