Sounds like a fun area to work in. A friend of mine Lance Canfiel is also a mechanical engineer that builds and rides his own dh/fr frames and also designs forks for White brothers. Check out his sight www.canfieldbrothers.com and e-mail him with questions he's is very cool inteligent guy.
