If you use eBay, then it's worth what the market will pay AT THAT MOMENT IN TIME because it is a matter of chance that someone who is interested will happen to view your listing.
AFAIK, the Shimano Selectra crankset was their first "experiment" with outboard bearings -- an interesting novelty which may have some interest to some collectors -- the crankset was heavy because it used a solid spindle (which had proprietary splines).
I can't date it other than to say [based on the one other bike I've seen with a Selectra crankset] that I believe it is from the early 80s. I presume the frame has 126mm rear spacing with a 6-speed freewheel & possibly downtube shifters which are in a semi-aero position on top of the downtube instead of on either side. Is that right?
FWIW, my guess is that one of the engineers who worked on the Selectra is currently one of the principle/head engineers at Shimano, now.
BTW. The novelty of the bike's components will make it much more valuable with the passage of time.
