I believe I was selling Ralieghs in 1984.... but I do not remember that bike. Actually I am not sure I remember any of the model names except for perhaps the Pro... and the GrandPrix [too many head injuries]... : )I can tell you that bicycle owners manuals are VERY generic...
For the most part they still may be using the same words..now as they used back in 1984 [I have not read one in a while]
Getting your hands on most any manual will give you pretty much what the old one had... not that you will find it very useful.
As I said I have no idea what the bike is.. If it is a deraileur bike it would be either a 5 speed or 10 speed and that is easy enough to count.not that knowing the number of gears really matters..
I do not think it would be easy to try and explain braking or shifting online...I suggest you try someone local..a bike shop or bike club.
