Hi Rob, To snap a fork is a very rare event, hopefully your okay and recovering. What make and model bike and model fork failed when you were riding? The majority of manufacturers will cover the failure under warranty, and also inform you of any recalls that the frame or fork might be subject to. You should check with your shop that you purchased the bike from they should be able to accomodate warranty issues with the bikes they carry.
