: : All other things being equal (thickness of tube wall, diameter of tube), how will the method of joining the tubes affect how the bike feels when I ride it? Does a steel bike w/ lugs feel worse than a TIG-welded or fillet-brazed, etc.?

Another followup: what do you think of frames that are joined by glue and lugs? Are these durable? Are they easy to put together?
So other than the obvious consideration of weight, why is a TIG-welded frame better than a lugged, brazed one? Will the TIG-welded frame stand up better in a crash or stay in alignment better over time?

: If all other things are equal, the joining method won't affect the way the bike feels. The frame may be slightly heavier with lugs or fillet construction, but that's it.
