Message: I hate to ask since this topic has appeared many times before, but here it goes anyway.... I have a creaking sound when pedaling hard, mostly when in the 6,7,8th gears, but not limited to these. My bike is a Cannondale R3000si, with Campy Chorus 10sp. The components have approximately 8,100 miles on them, so are relatively new. I have done the following -removed bottom bracket, regreased, torqued to spec. -removed chainrings, cleaned, torqued to spec. -removed cassette, cleaned, torqued to spec. -replaced chain. -removed seatpost, cleaned, lubed. -removed pedals, overhauled. -installed rear wheel with appropriatly tight QR. I am an experienced mechanic, but am at a loss on this one. Any suggestions are appreciated.
