>Sorry about the delayed response. Buying a disc specific hub will work but, if you don't know how to biuld a wheel then it generally ends up being more expensive to have a hub built up onto a rim than buying a pre-built wheel. Hubs start at $25-$30 and rims will start around $40. Spokes are usually $.75-$1.25 per spoke depending on the type of spoke you get. If you have a shop build it up expect to pay on average about $40 a wheel, though that will very depending where you live. You can use the same rim but if the wheel is built by a shop they will generally try and discourage this since the rim could be bent or worn out and there for not last very long.
>If you are looking for the cheapest option and aren't as conserned about long term durability then I would buy a hub and and spokes and biuld it yourself on your old rim or have a friend that knows how to biuld do it. There is plenty of info on how to biuld a wheel online.

I gotta tell ya, your help and advice has been great. Thank you for all the time you've put into this for me.
