: I'm having a frustrating time with my new triple crank road bike. When I go over even a small bump or road imperfection the chain starts clicking on another freehub cog. If I don't adjust the deraileur the chain will eventually jump to another cog. I've wondered if I have the wrong chain. It is your basic Sedis 40. The rear gear cluster is a Campi Record Exa drive 8 speed. The deraileur is an old/new stock Suntour XC Comp.
: Is it possible that when I go over a bump the deraileur moves slightly causing the chain to catch on the cog's special ramps? Anyway, hope you can help. Thanks in advance, Simon Gardner

I would like to know about the shifters. Are they down tube mounted? Which brand?
