Message: I have a Shimano Ultegra system with a triple front chainring 30-42-52. The two large chainrings wore out after 10 months of use (approx. 2400 miles). The bike shop that put them on says that this is normal, however I believe that this is premature wear. Can anyone offer any suggestions how this happened and what I should do to prevent wear in the future?
