Message: I saw the site also, I know the halo is real, they were very vague as to were the spinal fractures were. Cervical fractures, yes, concern, but thoracic or lumbar compression fractures are very stable. Anyway, I stray from the point.I did replace the Rev-X's with a pair of Spox wheels from their (spinergy) crash replacement policy and bought back the Rev-X rear for $75.00 If I decide to repair it, and its not a sure thing at this time, it would only see use on the cross bike, but if I really like the Spox wheels on the cross bike, which I seem to at this time, then the Rev-Xs will be shelved and I will have learned a lesson about composite wheels...... I also ride a OCLV, so I guess I am a carbon junkie!!! Thanks for the input! Dr. Dave >doc, >i visited the site @ spinergy failure. the halo looks real. would suggest saving epoxy for another day. my repair on the 440's was very minor: 1/8 inch peel on the rim bead of a tubular. even if it fails, nothing can collapse. worse scenario, excessive brake pad wear. >i know its a bummer, but i cracked the discover card limit and got a new spox wheel, maybe you can trade up. >dc
