Message: I bought a rear wheel which is 8/9 speed Shimano compatible. Do I need to use a spacer if I am running an 8 speed Shimano cassette on this wheel? I know the spacing is 130 mm. I also believe that with the newer 9 speed cassettes they cram an additional gear into the same width. Am I right?
