Message: Uh oh. It gets worse. Every year I pull the BB on my road bike and cleanout, relube the BB shell etc. This yr. I can not get the DA (not Billet) BB cups to budge. I have soaked the entire mess in Gunk penetratant etc. and no soap. Finally I used a VAR tool that screws into the BB axel, to stabilize the tool, and gave it heck. The non-drive cup shattered leaving about 3/4 of the cup in place. What to do? Looks like I will have to fabricate a small saw out of a file and just go to town....very carefully that is. Any advice appreciated.
