Message: By bike has tubeless tyres but came with inner tubes fitted. I've been riding it like thhat for a while but now want to go tubeless. I took the inner tube out and fitted the tubeless valve that came with the bike. I had no problem sitting the tyre an inflating. Unfortunately the air leaked away via the valve. I tried tightening the valve by hand and then with pliers but that didn't help. I took out the valve and re-inserted into the strip/rim making sure it was sitting properly but I air still leaks out. Try this about 4 times and gave up. Had to go back to having inner tubes. Anyone know of a way of making the valve and rim airtight? TIA Alex
