Thanks in advance...........................................................................................................................................The continious ratchet mechanism in the campy front allows it to shift about any front derailer.The cable pull/ deralier throw ratios are different betweeen campy and shimano shifters/derailers. Campy also changed the pull/throw of their shifters and derailers for 2001.So what use to work may or may not with the new stuff. Cogspacing is also different. Sometimes certain combinations of campy shifters and shimano rear mechs may work, but it's due to serendipity, not because its supposed to or designed that way.


So, If I were to change the Shimano cassette for a Campi cassette the rear shifter/erogolever combination should be ok. The next obvious question then is: Do 9 speed Campi cassette fit on Shimano Ultegra 9 speed hubs?
