Are you using these solvents as a grease/oil cleaner? I have found that citrus based cleaners work better than other cleaners on grease. I have been using Finish Line Citrus that you dilute down. They say to dilute it 5 to 1, but I use it at 4 to 1. It cleans chains, and cuts through any greasy mess, as good as, and even better, than any other type of cleaner I've used before. If this isn't what you are using the solvent for, give a little more information about what you are doing, and what your troubles are, and someone might have a better idea for you.
