Message: Although out-of-print for many years, Eugene A. Sloane's BICYCLE MAINTENANCE MANUAL may be available at your public library; or, perhaps, you can buy one at an Internet auction site. Sloan's in-depth coverage of cranksets, is still "modern information" in most respects. This is an excellent manual. (My paperback edition sold in 1979 for the bargain price of $9.95.)
