Is there something out there that works as well as mineral spirits without turning me into a poster model for OSHA? >Are you using these solvents as a grease/oil cleaner? I have found that citrus based cleaners work better than other cleaners on grease. I have been using Finish Line Citrus that you dilute down. They say to dilute it 5 to 1, but I use it at 4 to 1. It cleans chains, and cuts through any greasy mess, as good as, and even better, than any other type of cleaner I've used before. >If this isn't what you are using the solvent for, give a little more information about what you are doing, and what your troubles are, and someone might have a better idea for you. You might try star products from Jenex.com. Tradtionial citrus cleaners will leave a film on exposed metals. Should you lubricate you will have poor adhesion. [Check your hands they will have a white appearence.]
