>I have owned a Tetra-Pro since about 1994. I have had three incidents with mine and not one of them could have been resolved better. Great company, great frame, great ride. first problem was a shifter routing cable boss that came off. Their fault. They fixed it (and all other similarly constructed bosses on the frame), repainted it, and redesigned the newer frames to avoid the problem in the first place. Problem #2 - a car turned in front of me on a downhill - I hit it and bent the fork's steering tube. Insurance paid but they got me the right fork and fixed my bike like new. Problem #3 - a dumb mechanic (myself) tore off the top water bottle bolt on the seat tube. I admitted my error but they fixed it free anyway - and re-clear coated the frame for me. My only cost was time to disassemble and reassemble, plus shipping one-way. Bottom line - they stand behind their product and it's a joy to ride.

Tough choice, but I went with a Serotta Legend Ti w/ AME fork. Bottom line is that Calfee is awesome and I trust their design...but Serotta is alot close to me and I will get better support locally.
