Message: I have a Gary Fisher Sugar 1 that has a really wide stock handle bar on it. I plan on cutting it down, probably 1 or 2 inches on both sides. Question is at what point do I need to start shortening my cable housing to compensate for the narrower bar? My guess is that it will make a difference in cable action after a point. Thanks.
