Can anybody tell me if i can put shimano 9s rapid fire leavers on the bike and achieve compatability with my campy stuff Actually it doesn't work well in fact it always seems to miss at least one cog this is due to the difference in shimano and campagnolo 9 speed spacing. There is a way to do it however but it requires using a flat bar and shimano mountain top mount friction shifters. This however means you will shift by feel without index shifting. And regular (non v brake levers)mountain bike levers work with road brakes. And of course you need a mountain bike stem which can still be had in 1".
