Any solutions? Try tightening the quick release more. Tighten it until you can just barely get enough leverage on the lever to seat it all the way down. Also some quick release nuts (the part that doesn't have the clamp handle) have serrations, while others are smooth. If the nut on your quick release is smooth try replaceing it with one with serrations.
