Message: Which Shimano STI levers were available with 8 speed, triple and flight deck compatible? I want to get another set of levers for a commuter bike and am looking at auctions and swap meets. I know the earlier DA, Ultegra, and 105 STI levers came in 8 speed, but were they OK for a triple front? And were they single button Flight Deck compatible(one button on each lever)?
