Message: Hmm... clack-clack noises that coincide with pedal strokes are usually a sign (for me at least) of pedal cranks that need to be tightened. But it sounds like you've eliminated that. The other possibility may be a spoke that's on the verge of failing I guess. Maybe look for hairline fractures in the spokes? (Although, that failing spokes will make themselves known in short order anyway).
