Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA)
The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) is a Federal program that works to improve coordination between and among agencies so that workers and job seekers have more seamless access to a system of high-quality jobs.
To find a WIOA location in your state, conduct an internet search using “WIOA” and the name of your state.

AmeriCorps is a national society program that empowers more than 80,000 American volunteers each year.
Most volunteers work full-time for about a year, and in return for their time and hard work, volunteers receive a place to live, college tuition assistance, and a living allowance.
Please note: Not all AmeriCorps volunteers are eligible for tuition assistance at UBI. Check with an AmeriCorps advisor for information before registering for classes to verify tuition assistance.
